Jennifer Anisont (Jennifer Joanna Aniston) is an American television and film actress, executive producer, director, and businesswoman. She gained worldwide recognition as Rachel Green on the NBC ’90s sitcom television series ‘Friends’ (1994-2004); a role which earned the actress multiple awards including a Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series in (1996), a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actress of the Year in a Comedy Series in (2002), a Golden Globe award for Best Lead Actress of the Year in a Comedy Series in (2003), and four People’s Choice awards for Favorite Female Television Performer of the Year in (2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004). Her character was widely popular during the airing of the series and became recognized as one of the ‘100 Greatest Female Characters’ in United States Television. In addition to her success on television she has had an enduring film career, which has earned the former television actress her imprints at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California in (2011), and earned Jennifer her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her work in motion pictures in (2012) presented to her by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Jennifer has made multiple films including independent as well as blockbuster. She’s known for playing the female protagonist in a number of comedies as well as romantic comedies, and has shared the screen opposite some of Hollywood’s funniest leading men.
