Does Jen smoke?
Not anymore! The actress was reportedly a chain smoker for years but quit the habit in 2012. During a previous interview with GQ, Jen admitted she gained weight after giving up both smoking and caffeine but practicing yoga helped her get her body back in shape.
“Well, I recently quit smoking, and you do put on some extra pounds. It makes a difference, especially if you’re not 20,” she said at the time.
Where was she born?
Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born on Feb. 11, 1969, in Sherman Oaks, CA. Her parents are actor John Aniston and late actress Nancy Dow. She has two half-siblings, John Melick (her older maternal half-brother) and Alex Aniston (her younger paternal half-brother).
During her childhood, Jennifer and her parents lived in Greece for one year before moving to Eddystone, PA. The Anistons later relocated to NYC where Jen graduated from Manhattan’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School.
Is Jennifer married?
Prior to meeting Justin, Jennifer was married to actor Brad Pitt from 2000 until 2005. “My marital status has been shamed; my divorce status was shamed; my lack of a mate had been shamed… It’s like, ‘Why are we only looking at women through this particular lens of picking us apart? Why are we listening to it?'” she once said of her split from Brad.
Does she have any children?
Jennifer does not have any kids — and, frankly, she’s perfectly ok with it! “[I don’t] like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women — that you’ve failed yourself as a female because you haven’t procreated. I don’t think it’s fair,” Jen once said in an interview. “You may not have a child come out of your ******, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t mothering — dogs, friends, friends’ children.”
