Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding was undoubtedly one of the most iconic moments of the decade, with the royal event seeing A-list guests, family and fans travel from afar to celebrate.
Among the royal wedding guests were Meghan’s old co-stars from Suits, with everyone from Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty to Rick Hoffman and Abigail Spencer crossing the pond for the nuptials.
And let’s not forget Meghan’s onscreen husband Patrick J. Adams who not only came over to England for the wedding but also told Prince Harry via Twitter that he was the luckiest man in the world.
This week, the cast of Suits took part in a panel promoting Pearson, a spinoff show to Suits, that has been announced will be filming its final season. And when asked about a moment that bonded the cast together, the show’s creator Aaron Korsh brought up the royal wedding.
‘The thing I’ll say about it is that we all went as a family,’ he explained. ‘When we all went, there were about 10 of us or something. It was unbelievable.’
‘I think it changed our lives in certain ways, forever,’ he continued. ‘But if it had never happened, we were a family on Suits for 10 years.’
This is something that Sarah Rafferty agreed with at the time of the wedding, explaining: ‘We were with each other longer than we went to college or high school with our friends, so we became family in a way. We’re still family, so this is a wonderful family affair.’
There’s nothing like a royal wedding to bond a group of friends!
